I am planning a lunch/dinner for tomarrow. I got a ham yesterday and I'm going to make potato salad since everyone seems to love it (the potatoes are boiling away right now) also butternut squash, and I have a couple of yams left over, I might mix them in with the squash, I'm still not sure yet. Some kinda of veggies. Mom said she is going to make a glazed carrot thing but Dom doesn't like carrots so I'll cook up some green beans or something. I have some organic ones in the freezer I could easily cook. I think mom said something about a desert and maybe my great grandma's, "Lucy Rolls", they are so yummy!! Nothing fancy, just some good food and family! I have an email from the allrecipes web site for solw cooker ham, I'm gunna have to check that out and see if its something I wanna try, I love crock pot cooking!
We colored eggs today. I got a traditional color kit and a glitter color kit...I don't know if that was a good idea lol. We used the glitter PLUS glitter we had around the house to use on school art projects and such. We did NOT use it the way it said to lol. We simply rolled the eggs in glitter after they came out of the color cup and were still wet. We have some VERY glittery eggs! By the way... old sheets work great to cover your table to protect it for egg dye!
